Galen, a Syrena prince, searches land for a girl he's heard can communicate with fish. It's while Emma is on vacation at the beach that she meets Galen. Although their connection is immediate and powerful, Galen's not fully convinced that Emma's the one he's been looking for. That is, until a deadly encounter with a shark proves that Emma and her Gift may be the only thing that can save his kingdom. He needs her help―no matter what the risk.

Actually I first noticed the book because of its cover and because of this I wanted to read it absolutely. And it was incredible! The whole story is worked out very well and the characters are perfect. They are all written very great and it is so easy to feel with them. Emma was very pleasant from the beginning on and I like Galen a lot. Yeah at some points he is a bit strange but he is such a great character. I like that the story isn’t that smooth and also contains lots of funny scenes. Especially in the end the author throws a big surprise and which I didn’t expected at all while reading the book. Unfortunately it leads to a cliffhanger… The style of writing of Anna Banks is also just great!
I’ll definitely buy the second book of the series because I’m very curious how the story goes on. I can recommend it to everyone who likes love stories with a touch of fantasy.
