Harry Potter's summer has included the worst birthday ever, doomy warnings from a house-elf called Dobby, and rescue from the Dursleys by his friend Ron Weasley in a magical flying car! Back at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for his second year, Harry hears strange whispers echo through empty corridors - and then the attacks start. Students are found as though turned to stone . Dobby's sinister predictions seem to be coming true.

Finally back at Hogwarts! It is so fascinating how happy Harry is about the end of the holidays and the beginning of the new school year. Even when I read the book for the third time yet it isn’t boring for a second. Yeah I knew the basic structure of the story but nevertheless there are so many details which I couldn’t remember or just oversaw while reading it the other two times. I love Harry and his friends as much as in the first book. Professor Lockhart, the new teacher in Defense against the dark arts, is really pesky. And Dobby. Yeah he is just perfect! Even when I often thought why he does something and in my head screamed “No Dobby, stop doing it!” I just couldn’t resist loving him.
You feel with the characters the entire time. In a few of the scenes I would have liked to jump into the story to justify some of the characters but unfortunately it is impossible. The twists in the story are perfectly thought through and I didn’t expect most of them at all.
There happen so many things but mentioning only a part of them would take too long. So I just say that there are lots of thrilling, creepy, sad and also funny and beautiful scenes in this book.
The book is a must read for every Harry Potter fan!
